In 2012, America has an important decision to make. The upcoming presidential election will shape our future.
We must all get involved to make sure that the issues we care about are front and center: good jobs, collective bargaining, retirement security and health care. Together we can ensure that the voices of CWA members and working people everywhere are heard.

Stance on Collective Bargaining

Said he wouldn't support the Employee Free Choice Act and supports right-to-work laws.

“[We] must put an end to the...practice of allowing unions to deduct money directly from worker paychecks...”[1]
The [Employee Free Choice Act] bill would be "catastrophic for the economy," Romney said. "The impact long term is people start less businesses here. It's not great for the people who start businesses today, but it's even worse for the employees of tomorrow."[2]
“First of all, what I said was if a right to work piece of legislation reached my desk at the federal level I would sign it.”[3]
